Training sessions run from 9.15am-4.30pm (full day) *9am-5pm New to Travel Health course; 9am-1pm or 1pm-5pm (half day), if the delegate does not comply with these times, a certificate of course completion will not be issued and thus the update training or foundation training will not be deemed compliant with government recommendations.

Immunisation training courses are offered privately through the training provider Immunisations UK Ltd.

Training courses are offered across the United Kingdom at appropriate training venues and are available as face-to-face training or as virtual, interactive training delivered via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

Places will be limited to a maximum of 30 per session.

Training courses are delivered by an Immunisation Specialist Nurse and in line with Public Health England’s (PHE, 2018) National Minimum Standards and Core Curriculum for Immunisation Training for Registered Healthcare Practitioners and PHE (2015) National Minimum Standards and Core Curriculum for Immunisation Training for Healthcare Support Workers (HCSW) and in accordance with the Resuscitation Council UK 2021 guidelines.

Immunisation training delivered by Immunisations UK Ltd provides the knowledge base for Immunisation/vaccination practice; clinical competence when delivering vaccinations will need to be assessed within place of practice by a suitable mentor/manager. A competency framework/assessment tool (RCN, 2022; PHE, 2018) will be provided. Immunisations UK Ltd will not accept any responsibility for immunisation related clinical errors.

Booking implies a commitment to pay the published fess and intention to attend. In the event of a delegate being unable or no longer wishing to attend, the cancellation notice must be adhered to.

All Training to be paid for in full at time of booking, unless otherwise agreed. Payment secures training place and confirms acceptance of these terms of business.

All course bookings are subject to availability. In the event of immunisation training course over-subscription, only courses that have been paid for will be secure.

Should you be unable to attend, please be advised that we operate a minimum 15 working days cancellation notice. If cancellation is made more than 15 working days prior to the course, a credit note valid for 1 year will be issued. Should you fall outside this period, no credit note will be issued. Please note: an administration fee of £30 will be charged should a delegate require transfer to another course.

Should a training course be cancelled by Immunisations UK Ltd, a full refund will be offered, alternative dates will be made available, with priority given on the next available course.

Training can only be offered in accordance with these terms.
